Yoga & Pilates Classes

Pilates

Intensify your Pilates routine by incorporating equipment! The Reformer, a spring-loaded resistance machine, is one of the gentlest ways to tone muscle, strengthen joints and realign the body. No experience needed for beginning/intermediate and all level classes.

Group Pilates Classes

Beginning/Intermediate Reformer

Learn the basics of the Pilates Reformer and chair. The equipment will help stretch and strengthen your body. This class is perfect for beginners/intermediate students looking to refine their basic Pilates skills.

All Levels Reformer

All Levels reformer is appropriate for students who have an understanding of basic Pilates principles. The instructor will lead you through a serious of different moves that will challenge your body and intensify your practice. The instructor will modify exercises for each participant.

Advanced Reformer

Using both Reformers and Chairs, advanced classes allow participants to maximize their core strength and stability. You'll challenge yourself with advanced moves and develop a deeper understanding. Participants should have at least one quarter of Pilates equipment classes to register.

Yoga

These classes and workshops are ideal for anyone new to yoga or those wanting to expand their practice.

Mindful Vinyasa

This dynamic and meditative form of yoga can be adapted to any level. Based on ashtanga yoga, the breath is synchronized with movement and postures to help build strength, open hips, shoulders and hamstrings, and detoxify the body. In this progressive practice, each class builds off what we did the previous week. Expert adjustments insure correct alignment. Instructor Kali Om has been teaching yoga since 1998 and is certified at the highest (ERYT-500) level.

Love Your Body Yoga

This special yoga class during DePaul's Eating Disorder Awareness Week will be centered around the mantra of loving oneself and appreciating one's own body.

Yoga Live

Join Juliana for a 75-minute special offering of Power Vinyasa where you will connect your breath with continual movement. This class will flow through postures to help build stamina, strength, flexibility, and balance while accompanied by live classical music with Adian.

  • Private Pilates

Private Pilates

Private Pilates is ideal for those looking for more one-on-one attention for their Pilates training, or even as an alternative to personal training. Instructors may utilize popular equipment such as Pilates reformers and Peak MVE chairs during sessions, which use pulleys and springs rather than body weight to create long, lean muscles.

About Our Instructors

All of our instructors hold a minimum 200-hour certification, and each instructor has a deep understanding of body movement, alignment, and anatomy. Instructors have backgrounds ranging from dance to fitness and have various areas of specialty, including post-rehab or sport-specific training. They are also available to simply help improve general fitness or to get in shape for an event!
