Back to the Basics Basketball Training
Looking for your child to improve their basketball skills and have fun? Regardless of skill level, Coach Johnson will bring out the best in your son or daughter through progressive training on the fundamentals of basketball. Includes conditioning, ball handling, and shooting techniques and drills.We provide both private and small group training sessions for all ages! Use the contact information provided below to help us tailor a program that is right for your child.

About Coach Johnson
Coach Handy Johnson has trained players at numerous levels from youth through professional. Players from the Big 10, Big 12, Big East, PAC 12, and ACC have all worked with Coach Johnson to improve their skills. He is also the founder of Back 2 Basics, a company designed to provide both inner-city and suburban youth the opportunity to learn basic basketball fundamentals.

In his past basketball life, Coach Johnson played intercollegiate basketball at Southwest Missouri State University and professionally overseas in Belgium, Holland, Mexico and Portugal. In his present life, he the proud father of four boys.​
