Women's Volleyball

Description:
We are a competitive volleyball club that practices twice a week and attends three to five tournaments per academic quarter. We host two tournaments throughout the year as well. Our "away" tournaments are at various universities mainly in the Midwest; however, there are a couple two-day tournaments on the west coast that we consider. Typically, the tournaments are all day on a Saturday. We travel to tournaments as a team. We also go to Nationals at the end of the season (usually beginning of April), which is for four days.

Purpose/Mission:
To provide a fun, yet more competitive style of volleyball for dedicated women. We look for women, who love to play the sport of volleyball, bring a positive attitude to the court and team and who can create a positive name for the organization. It allows for students to travel to different universities around the Midwest to participate in tournaments and gives the team an opportunity to compete at the NIRSA volleyball championship in April. We give a fair chance to all women interested in playing by holding tryouts.
