Grant funding has enhanced and expanded the work of the Center for Access and Attainment over the course of the past decade. Grantors have provided funds for DePaul student programs, pre-college programs, research projects and outreach in support of the center's mission and goals. U.S. Department of Education TRIO Programs
"The Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO) are Federal outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRIO includes eight programs targeted to serve and assist low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to postbaccalaureate programs."

William G. McGowan Charitable Fund
"William G. McGowan Charitable Fund is a philanthropic family foundation established in 1992 by William G. McGowan to promote, nurture, and fund promising programs in education and other areas. The McGowan Charitable Fund believes that education is paramount to advancing youth in our low-income communities, and is a significant component of community revitalization. Through our grant making, we strive to improve high school graduation and college readiness rates, and prepare youth for a stable and successful future."

Bank of America Charitable Foundation

Vincentian Endowment Fund
"The Vincentian Endowment Fund was established in 1992 by a gift from the Vincentian Fathers and Brothers who sponsor DePaul University. The fund provides grant funding to faculty, staff and student projects that enhance the university's Catholic and/or Vincentian identity."​
