Anita Rosso serves as director for DePaul's TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) program. In this role, she oversees all management, supervision and implementation of program components, and serves as an advisor for student participants.
Anita is an active member in various professional organizations, including the TRIO associations: Council for Opportunity in Education, Educational Opportunity Association and Illinois TRIO, a state chapter of the Educational Opportunity Association. She is also involved with the National Association for Chicana and Chicano Studies, and Illinois Latino Council on Higher Education.
Previously, Anita worked as program coordinator for DePaul's College of Education's McPREP Academy, formerly funded by Ronald McDonald's Children's Charities and Chicago Public Schools. She also has experience as an English as second language instructor, adult and youth vocational trainer, and U.S. citizenship and literacy instructor.
Anita holds two degrees from DePaul University, a BA in English and a MS in public service management, focusing on nonprofit administration.
