Choosing Your Financial Priorities

What kind of life do you want?

Are you clear about which lifestyle will bring you joy and let you be your authentic self? In relation to money, this is very important to know. Your money should serve your vision.

We are told we need more, more, more! More money to buy fancy clothes, expensive cars, bigger homes and the list goes on. This is called "consumerism." And it is not all it's cracked up to be! You might end up "having it all" — but feeling empty. If it's not your vision, then it won't fulfill you. Choose your vision now, before it's too late.

Keep in mind: Experiences bring more joy than things.

Think about it... What brings you more joy? Those expensive jeans you bought last year or the trip you took with your closest friends? Research shows that experiences and time with others produces more happiness than just buying things. So what experiences do you enjoy?

Once you envision the life you want, it becomes easier to create a plan for your money.
