Tom O’Brien is the Director of
Neighborhood Connections, a nationally-recognized community
building program. Neighborhood Connections funds resident-led grassroots
projects in Cleveland and East Cleveland, provides training and technical assistance,
and connects citizens to each other, to organizing campaigns, and policy
discussions.
Prior to joining Neighborhood
Connections, Tom was a community organizer in Cleveland’s Slavic Village
neighborhood. Prior to that, Tom served on the staff of the Jesuit
Volunteer Corps Northwest as an Area Director, recruiting, training, and
assisting full-time volunteers in Oregon and Washington.
