Allison Lourash

Allison Lourash lives in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, where she supports access to the community for people with disabilities. Her Ph.D. dissertation focused on community practitioners working to advance inclusion for people with disabilities using an ABCD lens. Her background in using an asset-based approach to non-profit management lends itself to working with human services organizations to apply ABCD. Being disabled and a dwarf, she devotes much of her work related to centering the voices of people with disabilities in conversations around community. Allison is active in the ABCD Rural Workgroup and supports the Unconference and E-Book (www.abcd-ebook.site). You can find more information on Allison and her work at her website- www.lourash.com
