April Osburn is the Program Coordinator for the Mid Central Area Health Education Center, housed within the Central Michigan University College of Medicine. Her primary responsibilities are to participate in the planning, development and implementation of continuing education programs offered regionally and statewide. She focuses on identifying and developing programs to meet the educational needs of the healthcare professionals working in the rural and medically underserved communities. April is a graduate of Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration with a focus on Economics. April is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Administration with a focus on Health Care Administration.
Prior to working at CMU, she was Vice President of Membership & Programs at the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce. While at the chamber of commerce she focused on membership recruitment and retention, fund development, budget oversight, non- profit management, program development, public relations, committee oversight, community relations and data analysis. She is also a board member at Woodland Hospice and Morey Bereavement Center.
