Social entrepreneur Zita Cobb emphasizes that the answer to building thriving communities is through place-based economic development and Asset-Based Community Development. Following a successful career in fiber optics, Cobb returned to her childhood home of Fogo island off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada on a mission to revitalize the community’s struggling economy.
