In 2017, the ABCD Institute piloted a new fellowship program. The purpose of the fellowship was to train and support a new generation of practitioners in order to sustain ABCD into the future. The faculty selected 23 fellows from across the U.S. and Canada, based on their leadership in their own communities and their dedication to ABCD principles. Throughout the year, fellows worked closely with an ABCD faculty mentor to study and learn about asset based community development in theory and practice. Fellows also developed a project related to their own work and interests.
The fellows met for the first time in June, 2017. The following video shares some of their voices and perspectives.
Together, the ABCD fellows brought a wealth of experience, passion and expertise.
