Our dance classes will help you relieve stress, ease tension, tone muscle, and gain skills. The Ballet Academy in Lincoln Park provides training for serious and recreational dancers. Classes are designed to build confidence, coordination, discipline, concentration, and appreciation for the performing arts. Children will participate in a year-end recital.

Winter Sessions - Registration opens December 8
January 7 - March 10 (10 Weeks)
All classes are held in Studio A
Sunday session:
- 3-4 yrs. old: 9:00 - 9:45am
- 5-6 yrs. old: 9:50 - 10:50am
- 7-8 yrs. old: 11:00am - 12:00pm
Spring Session -
March 17 - June 8 (8 weeks, no class on Sunday 3/31 and 5/26, last class Saturday 6/8)

Register for ballet at The Ray Membership Services desk, in the Online Portal, or through The Ray at DePaul app available in the Apple Store or Google Store!
Note about payment: Once you access our online portal, if you are not a Ray member, click the lesson you would like to enroll in, and then create a new account when prompted to log in. If you are already a Member, then login first and click the lesson you would like to enroll in. You may also pay in person at Membership Services.
Where can I park?
- The east side of Sheffield Ave. between Belden and Webster allows for free parking
- The west side (across from The Ray) is Chicago paid parking
- There is a parking garage on Sheffield a block north of The Ray - Ray staff will stamp your garage ticket so you will receive the DePaul rate of $14 per session.
Dress Requirement
- Pre-Ballet
- Light pink tights, pink shoes, light pink leotard, hair up in bun or ponytail.
- Ballet
- Plain black leotard, short, cap, spaghetti or tank sleeves. NO crisscrossing, aerobic or halter style straps. No high cut or aerobic cut legs. Pink tights. Pink shoes that fit like a glove with elastic straps sewn on. Hair up in tight bun (tight pony tail, very flatly put into bun, use lots of pins, hair net), minimal bangs
