Simple Do-It-Yourself Workshops are held throughout the academic year for students, faculty, and staff. All supplies provided! FREE and open to DePaul students, faculty, and staff. Pre-registration suggested but supplies are limited. Walk-ins are welcome if space and supplies are available.

Air Plant in a Seashell

Air plants look striking all on their own without the need for soil or a container. But why not place one in a seashell? You'll get an air plant and a seashell that you can decorate plus instructions on how to take care of your air plant! They make for such a perfect pairing of natural elements that would not be found together. Yet, despite their geographical separation, the seem so happy together.

Join us for our FREE Pot-a-Plant workshop, we will provide everything you need; plant start, pot, and supplies to decorate your pot! Supplies are limited; pre-registration is strongly encouraged to guarantee a spot.
Make a Mini-Terrarium Holiday Ornament
Make a tiny terrarium that can be used as an ornament or table decoration.... and you know things green and growing makes us feel more relaxed and ready for finals and the holidays! You'll get a plastic ornament that opens, live moss, soil and your choice of a miniature whimsical item to add.
Make Your Own Scented Pine Cones
Scented pine cones add a wonderful fragrance to your room, especially during the winter months. Dried pine cones, bags, and a variety of holiday essential oils will be provided.
