Do-it-Yourself Workshops

Get your creative juices flowing! Or just take some time out to relax and enjoy doing something fun and productive. Simple Do-It-Yourself Workshops are held throughout the academic year for students, faculty, and staff.  All supplies provided! Register at the Membership Services desk, online or through The Ray app. (For details on how to get a user name / password and/or download the app, go to the Registration page.) FREE and open to DePaul students, faculty, and staff. Pre-registration suggested but supplies are limited. Walk-ins are welcome if space and supplies are available.

Winter Quarter

Make a Lavender Sachet FREE!
Thursday, January 24; 4 pm
DePaul students only
We'll supply the sachet bags and lavender, you'll supply the creativity to decorate your bags! Each participant will make two, 2" x 3" bags. Sachet bags can be used in drawers, closets or placed next to you bed. Lavender is known for its health benefits including its ability to relieve stress, improve mood and promote restful sleep.

Make Your Own Potpourri FREE!
Thursday, February 7; 4 pm
DePaul students only
Create your own potpourri using dried flowers including rose buds, marigolds, lavender and hibiscus. Essential oils will be provided for you to create your own special mixture. Place your mixture in a bowl to scent a room or put the ingredients into a sachet so that you can place it in a linen drawer. Potpourri is know for uplifting and calming your mood.
