Do-it-Yourself Workshops

Get your creative juices flowing! Or just take some time out to relax and enjoy doing something fun and productive. Simple Do-It-Yourself Workshops are held throughout the academic year for students, faculty, and staff.  All supplies provided! Register at the Membership Services desk, online or through The Ray app. (For details on how to get a user name / password and/or download the app, go to the Registration page.) FREE and open to DePaul students, faculty, and staff. Pre-registration suggested but supplies are limited. Walk-ins are welcome if space and supplies are available.

Make-an-Indoor Water Garden
Thursday, April 25; 4 pm; FREE!
It's like having a plant aquarium! You'll get all the materials needed to make a small water garden and also learn how to take care of your new plant. Limited to 30 students; pre-registration strongly encouraged to guarantee spot. Part of DePaul's Earth Week celebration! DePaul students only!

Create a Nature Print
Wednesday, May 8; 4 pm; Free for DePaul students.
You've always wanted to create a "cyanotype," you just didn't realize it! This is a process in which you will use the sun's rays and natural materials to make a blue print that looks like a silhouette art print. If there is time, you will then have the opportunity to add color to make it your own creation!

Messy Marble Art
Friday, May 17; 3 - 5 pm; Free for DePaul students.
Upgrade your home decor by creating unique marbled paper with shaving cream in a relaxed, stress-free environment. Not only is this DIY project attractive, but it's a ton of fun to make!
