Do-it-Yourself Workshops

Get your creative juices flowing! Or just take some time out to relax and enjoy doing something fun and productive. Simple Do-It-Yourself Workshops are held throughout the academic year for students, faculty, and staff. 

All supplies provided! Register at the Membership Services desk, online or through The Ray app. (For details on how to get a user name / password and/or download the app, go to the Registration page.) FREE and open to DePaul students, faculty, and staff. Pre-registration suggested but supplies are limited. Walk-ins are welcome if space and supplies available.

Winter Quarter 2018 Workshops

Force a Spring Flower Bulb NEW!
Thursday, January 11; 4 pm FREE; open to DePaul students only!
Need a touch of spring color for your room? Come learn how to 'force' a spring bulb into blooming in your room. We'll supply the bulb and pot! You supply the tender care (watering and placing in a window sill)!

Lavender Sachet: Make Your Own Bag NEW!
Friday, February 2; 2 pm FREE; open to DePaul students only!
We'll supply the sachet bags and lavender, you supply the creativity to decorate your bags! Each participant will make two, 2" x 3" bags. Sachet bags can be used in drawers, closets or placed next to you bed. Lavender is known for it's health benefits including its ability to relieve stress, improve mood and promote restful sleep.

Aromatherapy: Mix Your Own Spray

Need some stress-relief or something to energize you? Choose from our “recipes” or bring your own as you mix the aromatherapy spray that will help you excel! ​
