Our workshops are designed to assist you to learn about and engage multiple dimensions of wellness: including physical, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, occupational, social, and emotional.

Wellness Workshops

During the Fall, Winter, and Spring academic quarters, we offer Wellness Workshops that are FREE for DePaul students, staff, faculty (members and non-members)and community members. Workshops include topics related to all seven dimensions of wellness, including nutrition, workout ideas and goal-setting, running efficiency clinics, mindfulness, and more. In addition, check out our DIY Workshops and our training programs in Self-Defense and CPR/AEDParticipants are encouraged to register in advance due to limited space. Register at The Ray Membership Services desk, online or through The Ray at DePaul app.

Roadmap to Personal Fitness

New Year New You!  ​Yep, ​you want to get into a new fitness routine for the new year, but you're not sure where to start? Join our trained fitness staff to help you explore physical activities that fit your life and a put together a fitness plan to meet your goals.  All experience levels are welcome for this workshop! We are a "No ​Judgment / No Intimidation" Zone!

Conservatory Walk and Yoga

Friday, February 22, 1 - 3:15pm; Open and FREE to DePaul University students only.   

Tired of being cooped up inside? So it's time to opt outside and enjoy the restorative benefits of a nature walk followed by a special yoga class. Meet at The Ray for a refreshing walk to the Lincoln Park Conservatory, check out the beautiful, earthy world inside, and return to The Ray for yoga!  You are welcome to participate in both activities or just choose one. We'll leave the Ray at 1 pm and return by 2:30 for a 45 minute yoga class. Can you think of a better way to decompress from the week and get re-energized for the weekend? We can't either!

Meet at The Ray by the front desk for the walk, OR if you plan to attend yoga only, meet in Studio C at 2:25 pm. Please pre-register so we can get a pre-walk count, but feel free to grab a friend and bring them along! They'll thank you for it!

DIY Aromatherapy Spray Scents

Tuesday, March 12​; 4pm; The Ray; FREE to DePaul Students Only​
Need a little relaxation in your life as you move toward final exams? Put together the essential oils of your choice to create your own aromatherapy spray bottle! Yo​u can decide on your favority combination of oils - for stress relief or to boost your energy or to just make you feel relaxed. This workshop is part of the Brain Fuel Week schedule and is free to all ​DePaul students. All materials are provided so please pre-register as supplies are limited!

Midweek Meditation

Wednesdays, 12:30pm; January 9 - March 13; The Ray Studio C

Tune out the noise and tune into your world. Rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul with this relaxing midweek break from the action. A facilitator from the Office of Religious Diversity will lead you in a​ guided relaxation and meditation exercise. Join us! You'll be glad you did! This program is only held during the academic quarter while academic classes are in session. This session is facilitated by the Office of Religious Diversity.
