Wellness Workshops

Our workshops are designed to assist you to learn about and engage multiple dimensions of wellness: including physical, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, occupational, social, and emotional.

Wellness Workshops

During the Fall, Winter, and Spring academic quarters, we offer Wellness Workshops that are FREE for DePaul students, staff, faculty (members and non-members)and community members. Workshops include topics related to all seven dimensions of wellness, including nutrition, workout ideas and goal-setting, running efficiency clinics, mindfulness, and more. Check back to this page in September to see what's in store in the Fall! 

Participants are encouraged to register in advance due to limited space. Register at The Ray Membership Services desk, online or through The Ray at DePaul app.

Midweek Meditation

Beginning again September 6, 2017!
Every Wednesday 
12:30 - 1 pm​
Studio C, The Ray 2nd Floor​

Tune out the noise and tune into your world. Rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul with this relaxing midweek break from the action. A facilitator from the Office of Religious Diversity will lead you in a​ guided relaxation and meditation exercise. Join us! You'll be glad you did!

Eating Healthy on Campus

​Good nutrition contributes to academic success, but sometimes it's hard to find the right foods on campus. Let a registered dietitian provide you with the scoop on how to make enjoyable yet nutritious choices on the DePaul meal plan! This session is designed for DePaul students but all are welcome.

Fuel for Your Workout

​How do your eating habits affect your active lifestyle? Let a registered dietition and personal trainer assist you in exploring food options to best support your workout goals.

Running Efficiency Clinic

Are you training for a race? Or do you just want to find out if you're getting the most out of your runs? Let a certified physical therapist and marathoner from NovaC​are provide you with information for making your runs more efficient and effective. A free gait analysis is included in this workshop!
