Wellness Workshops

Our workshops are designed to assist you to learn about and engage multiple dimensions of wellness: including physical, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, occupational, social, and emotional.

Wellness Programs

During the Fall, Winter, and Spring academic quarters, we offer Wellness Workshops that are FREE for DePaul students, staff, faculty (members and non-members)and community members. Workshops include topics related to all seven dimensions of wellness, including nutrition, workout ideas and goal-setting, running efficiency clinics, mindfulness, and more. In addition, check out our DIY Workshops and our training programs in Self-Defense and CPR/AED. Participants are encouraged to register in advance due to limited space. Register at The Ray Membership Services desk, online or through The Ray at DePaul app.

Midweek Meditation

Wednesdays, 12:30pm; through August 2; The Ray Studio C

Tune out the noise and tune into your world. Rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul with this relaxing midweek break from the action. A facilitator from the Office of Religious Diversity will lead you in a​ guided relaxation and meditation exercise. Join us! You'll be glad you did! This program is only held during the academic quarter while academic classes are in session. This session is facilitated by the Office of Religious Diversity. Weekly Fall Fitness Challenges

Challenge yourself - improve your health and self-esteem in the process!! Check out our Fitness Challenge Board on the RAY 2nd Floor to compete with yourself and others for fun and prizes!

Opt Outside - Exploration Walk to the Zoo

Friday, September 20; 11 am - 12:30 pm; Meet at The Ray at 10:55 am and bring your walking shoes!
​Did you know that one of the best ways to clear your mind, stimulate your brain, and improve your fitness is to walk? Did you know that even spending 10 minutes outside, especially in natural areas among trees, has been found to improve your sense of well-being? Yep, we have the answer to all that! Grab a friend (or come alone to meet new ones) and join us for a 2.5 mile round trip walk to the Lincoln Park Zoo (free entry) and Lincoln Park Conservatory (also free!). You'll be so happy you did! 

Free to DePaul students; All effort and participation is voluntary; Pre-registration not required but requested.

DIY Aromatherapy Spray Scents

Thursday, November 14, 1 - 4 pm; During Fall Brain Fuel Week; FREE to DePaul Students Only​
Need a little relaxation in your life as you move toward final exams? Put together the essential oils of your choice to create your own aromatherapy spray bottle! Yo​u can decide on your favority combination of oils - for stress relief or to boost your energy or to just make you feel relaxed. This workshop is part of the Brain Fuel Week schedule and is free to all ​DePaul students. All materials are provided so please pre-register as supplies are limited!
