Carol's childhood interest in gymnastics and dance led her to the Chicago Academy for the Arts High School where she studied dance and theater. While pursuing a degree in piano performance at DePaul University, Carol was drawn to the field of psychoneuroimmunology (how stress can make you sick). She explored many stress-reduction techniques including yoga, meditation and massage therapy. Carol has been a Massage Therapist for 27 years and has taught anatomy and kinesiology for 10 years. She has a passion for working one-on-one with clients to help them feel more comfortable and confident in their bodies.

Personal Interests:
Carol enjoys playing classical piano and walking her 2 whippets at least 3 miles a day.

Training Philosophy:
Carol believes we are what we do and that the key to aging well is to remain active and strong. Research confirms that cardiovascular and strength training exercises decrease anxiety and depression, reduces symptoms of chronic pain and improves sleep. Our bodies have the potential to reshape and grow in response to the demands that we place upon them. Carol is excited to help you achieve your fitness goals.
