  • Personal Trainer

Certification/Education:

American Fitness Professionals and Associates (AFPA)

Experience/Background:

Jacob is a classical cellist by trade which gives him a unique perspective as a personal trainer. Playing cello requires unorthodox use of the body, so he began researching certain muscle functions to promote sustainable posture and playing for himself. This perspective is at the heart of how he thinks about training his clients. In addition to guiding his clients towards whatever goals they may have for themselves, Jacob always keeps in mind sustainable training to avoid injuries, especially later in life.

Training/Fitness Philosophy:

Investing in one's own body should be an aspect of every person's life. The benefits of resistance training and other forms of training spill into all other aspects of life. Training can build confidence, support mental health, teach us about managing long-term goals, boost energy, prevent injuries, and it's an all-around good time.
