CampusClear App: To access The Ray, patrons should download the "#CampusClear" App and show the "Good to Go" screen to the Entrance Attendant. Students, faculty, and staff are required by DePaul University to sign in on #CampusClear before going on campus. Please do not use The Ray if you have any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19.
COVID-19 Screening Questions: Patrons who do not have a phone or cannot show #CampusClear approval will need to respond to several screening questions to gain entrance to The Ray. Please do not use The Ray if you have any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19.
Face Covering Policy:
- We ask that you use a facial covering at all times unless swimming in the pool.
- Facial coverings should cover the lower part of the face including the nose, mouth, chin.
- Face shields (without a nose/mouth/chin coverage mask underneath) and Valve Masks do NOT meet this criteria above.
COVID-19 Waiver: Members will need to sign the COVID Assumption of Risk form and take a new picture at the Membership desk at your first visit. For those members with children ages 16 and 17, you MUST either accompany your minor on their first visit to sign this form OR sign the attachment and email it to us/send it with them on their first visit. They will not be allowed to enter without it. Children ages 16 and 17 may purchase memberships if their parent or guardian also has a membership.
Limited Facility Access: Facility access is limited to community members ages 16 and above and DePaul students, faculty, staff. Guest passes, complimentary passes, and community or alumni member daily passes are not being sold or permitted for entry. DePaul students, faculty, and staff may purchase a daily usage pass or a membership.
Workout Areas: To comply with state and city health guidelines, we have had to restrict the number of people working out at one time in strength and cardio areas. During heavy use times in the 2nd floor strength area, your name and cell number may have to go on a waiting list and you may use other areas of the facility until we notify you. Thanks for your patience.
Locker Rooms: Daily locker checkout and drop-in locker room use have resumed during State of Illinois Tier 1 Mitigation. The locker rooms will operate under capacity limits; 22 people at a time per locker room. Please come to The Ray in your workout attire if at all possible. Restrooms within the locker rooms are open for use.
Reservations: Pool access, court use, and selected personal fitness spaces require reservations. See instructions in the "reservations" section below.
