New and Reactivating Members: We welcome all community and DePaul alumni and their dependents to reactivate or purchase a new membership. See Membership page for details.

DePaul Student Memberships: DePaul part-time undergraduate students, Law,  and part or full-time graduate students are eligible to purchase quarterly memberships. Full-time undergraduates are already paying for a Ray membership through their tuition and fees. (Just use your ID card to enter The Ray!)

  • Summer Memberships: Spring 2021 graduates, and current DePaul students who are stopped out from classes for the summer or who are continuing part-time are eligible for a special summer membership rate of $43; access is June 14 - September 13.

Visiting Student Memberships: Visiting students from other universities may purchase a semester or summer membership at a special rate. Check out the Membership page for details.

  • Additional Membership / Ray Access Options:
    • Guest Pass Limits: A member may bring in one guest ($14 daily fee) per visit.
    • Non-Member Pass Packages: One-month passes / 5/10 punch passes are available for those who do not want full recurring memberships (these “passes" do not include member discounts for programs or services).
    • Alumni Self-Sponsor Daily Pass: Alumni may purchase a daily pass ($14 daily fee) in addition to the option of a full membership. Proof of DePaul graduation / alumni status is required.
  • Daily locker checkout has resumed and you may check out a locker with a student ID, a keytag, or by completing a checkout slip.
  • Courtesy towel service will resume on June 21.

Reminders as you prepare to visit The Ray:

  • Bring your own towel and water bottle (drinking fountains are unavailable).
  • Don't assume or comment on people's reasons for wearing a mask. Some of our staff and other patrons will continue to wear masks due to personal preferences and individual health concerns; we support them fully in this decision.
  • If you aren't feeling well or have been exposed to Covid-19 within the last 14 days, we ask that you DO NOT visit The Ray and potentially expose others.
  • We will continue to pay special attention to cleaning equipment and facility areas and ask that you continue to wipe down any areas and equipment that you use as a precaution.

    • The courts may be used for basketball or set up upon request for volleyball, badminton, or pickleball with no restrictions.
