Description:
DePaul Men’s Club Volleyball was organized in the fall of 1987 when some individuals decided they wanted to play indoor volleyball at a competitive level. They each had the opportunity to play on the collegiate level at different institutions, however; chose to attend DePaul University to further their academic careers. After endless hours of beach volleyball the summer before their sophomore year, these men decided they wanted to transition from beach volleyball to indoor volleyball during the school year.

Each year the overall development of the club increased until the club reached a point where we could compete at the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation’s (NCVF) yearly tournament. Our goal is to continue to succeed at the highest level while maintaining our commitment to academic excellence and lifetime friendships.

Purpose/Mission:
Our organization embodies the Vincentian values our university aims to uphold. Through the commitment to the club, our members show an understanding of what it takes to put yourself into something larger than yourself. We aim to find individuals who uphold integrity and respect for others at all times. In this way we uphold the principles' of our Vincentian, Catholic and urban character, to better show the communities and other individuals who don't know DePaul University what our students are capable of and stand for.
