Education and Professional Experience

  • MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago
  • MS coursework in Leisure Services from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
  • BS in Leisure Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
  • Worked at the University of Illinois at Chicago before joining the DePaul recreation staff in September 1998

  • Certified Recreational Sports Specialist, National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA)
  • Illinois Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (IIRSA)
  • Serving on NIRSA's Sustainability Commission and on the 2013 Annual Conference Program Committee. Currently serving as chair of the Illinois Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (IIRSA) Finance Committee
  • Wrote the chapter on budgeting for the upcoming Human Kinetics publication (Campus Recreation Management/Administration)
  • Presented at Lead On and the NIRSA Annual Conference in 2012.​​​
