Background

Lorne Bobren joined the Career Center in 2016 and is responsible for advising students and recent graduates from CDM. He is also responsible for running workshops and presentations both in and out of the classroom on topics such as resume writing, interviewing and using social media effectively.

Lorne received his BA in communications and media studies and a master of labor and industrial relations degree from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Lorne grew up in Streamwood, Ill., and currently lives in Chicago. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, live music, bowling and playing the guitar.
