Virtual Campus Visits

A group of College Connect students after 2016 graduation
College Access offers specialized services that address the unique needs of first-generation college students, low-income students and students of color.  We work in partnership with DePaul Undergraduate Admission to host groups of students from targeted populations. Our office collaborates with middle and high school counselors, college coaches and nonprofit organization leaders to widen college access for traditionally underrepresented students.

Virtual Campus Visits
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, both DePaul University campuses are closed for Spring and Summer sessions and all classes are held online. Our College Access team recently implemented virtual campus visits to serve the needs of our target populations via Zoom.

If you are interested in having your students participate in a virtual campus visit, please start by completing our Visit Request Form. Please provide as much detail as you can, and a College Access staff member will contact you about your request. Please note:
  • All visit requests should be submitted at least 1 week ahead of your preferred virtual visit date to allow adequate planning time.
  • All participating students must be in grades 7-12.
  • Students should be adequately prepared for their virtual college visit. Please review the documents that you will receive prior to your online event and share them with your students.
  • We will need a roster of all participants, students and staff, with full names and email addresses provided to us at least 24 hours prior to the online event. Zoom link will be sent to everyone prior to the virtual visit.
