Master of Science in Real Estate Program for Chicago Members of ULI and NAIOP

"I joined the MSRE program to learn more broadly about the commercial real estate landscape outside of my day-to-day work activities.  In addition, I hoped that it would open up a new network for me.  Within 12 months, I was offered and accepted a position that I never thought I would have been qualified for until I started my education at DePaul.  I expect dividends such as this to pay off for the rest of my life due to my education at DePaul."

--Chris, MSRE '18

In partnership with the Chicago chapter of ULI, DePaul has held two Master of Science (MS) in Real Estate cohorts since 2017. Members of the Chicago chapter of NAIOP are invited to join members of the Chicago chapter of ULI for the third cohort, starting in January 2021.

In the Master of Science  in Real Estate (MSRE) program, you will learn concepts and practices in real estate investment analysis and finance. The multidisciplinary curriculum incorporates courses in real estate, marketing, law, public policy, geography and economics.

Whether you are a professional in the real estate field looking to further your knowledge and skills in this industry or are seeking a transition to the real estate field from another area, this degree will prepare you for real estate industry leadership. The MS in Real Estate program is designed for students who have a bachelor's degree or or who have or are earning an MBA.

Career Outlook

The MSRE program provides mentoring and networking opportunities that promote career-advancing engagement between students and the real estate industry. As part of the mentoring program, you will be paired with a senior Chicago real estate executive who will provide an inside look at various aspects of the real estate industry. Graduates of this program work in a variety of roles in the residential and commercial real estate industries.
