Natalie Daniels has been an
accredited financial counselor through the Association for Financial Counseling
and Planning Education for eight years and has worked in the Financial Fitness
Program at DePaul University for eleven. She has managed the program since
2015. Natalie holds an MA in Media and Cinema Studies from DePaul
University and a BA in Diaspora Studies from Sarah Lawrence College.
When joining the Financial
Fitness program, Natalie was experienced in curriculum design, counseling, and
teaching. However, she was not a personal finance expert. Those skills came
through her certification and a whole lot of studying. Because of this
background, she approaches personal finance in an individualistic manner,
acknowledging that one plan may not work for every client. Natalie’s goal
as a financial counselor is to make personal finance easily understandable and
help students reduce financial stress by helping them build a financial plan to
help them succeed in college and beyond.
You can meet with Natalie about
any personal finance and most financial aid topics.
