Inaugural Presidential Fellows named

When he created the new Presidential Fellows program last fall, DePaul President A. Gabriel Esteban sought to move the university closer to its vision as a place where all faculty, staff and students are affirmed, feel included and have equal access to opportunities to achieve their goals. The appointment of Christina Rivers, associate professor of political science, and Alyssa Westring, associate professor of management and entrepreneurship, as the inaugural Presidential Fellows will help bring that vision to life.

New business law clinic aims to assist DePaul entrepreneurs

If you have a business idea, but aren't sure of the steps needed to start a company, DePaul College of Law's newest in-house legal clinic - the business law clinic - is ready to help. Founded in 2018 to provide law students with an opportunity to practice their craft while still in school, the business law clinic offers counsel at an affordable rate to the DePaul community's budding entrepreneurs.

From the President: Office of University Events to be reorganized

The Rev. Ed Udovic, C.M., recently announced he will step down from his roles as university secretary and vice president for Mission and Ministry at the end of this academic year. As a result of the review of key processes in the Office of the Secretary, prompted by Fr. Udovic’s plan to retire, responsibility for all aspects of Commencement and Convocation will be consolidated within Academic Affairs, an appropriate home for the university’s preeminent academic events. Responsibility for the variety of other university-wide events managed by the Office of University Events will be consolidated within the Office of Public Relations and Communications.
Construction near Loop Campus could affect access to parking garages

Peoples Gas is continuing a major infrastructure upgrade project in the Loop along Plymouth Ct., Harrison St. to Congress Pkwy. and Van Buren St., Michigan Ave. to Wells St., and some of the adjacent cross streets. Beginning Monday, Feb. 18, some Loop Campus parking garage entrances and loading docks near the Loop Campus may be affected by construction zoning.
