People who have been exposed to the virus now have two options:
While the CDC's quarantine guidance changed, the city of Chicago's travel order, effective Nov. 13, remains in place. Anyone traveling from a state on the city's orange list is directed to obtain a negative COVID-19 test result no more than 72 hours prior to arrival in Chicago, or quarantine for a 14-day period or the duration of their time in Chicago – whichever is shorter. Anyone traveling from a state on the red list must quarantine for a 14-day period or the duration of their time in Chicago, whichever is shorter. Please visit the City of Chicago's Emergency Travel order website for a list of affected sates. As of Nov. 30, 46 states and two territories were listed on the city's travel order.
Furthermore, wearing a face mask over your nose and mouth when in public, social distancing, washing your hands regularly and monitoring for symptoms are still critical to stopping the virus' spread.

Thank you for taking care of each other. We're all in this together.
