RSVP for President Robert L. Manuel's inauguration celebration

Inauguration 2022 logo

On Nov. 11, DePaul will join as one community for the inauguration of our 13th president, Robert L. Manuel. Both the inauguration ceremony and celebration will be hosted by our community, for our community, on our Lincoln Park Campus. While a presidential inauguration is a meaningful ritual to formally install our university leader, the entire DePaul community holds a significant place right at its center. All faculty, staff and students are welcome and encouraged to join the celebration.

The inauguration ceremony will take place at the Holtschneider Performance Center from 1 to 2 p.m. As a result of wanting to showcase our university community by hosting the inauguration on our own campus, limited seating will be available at the ceremony.

Faculty, staff and students may enter a lottery to attend the ceremony. Efforts will be made to accommodate as many faculty, staff and students as possible who would like to attend the ceremony in person. The lottery will close to entries on Oct. 26. The event also will be livestreamed for the entire DePaul community in Chicago and around the world to view.

All faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the university celebration that will follow the inauguration ceremony, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the McGrath-Phillips Arena on the Lincoln Park Campus. Faculty, staff and students are asked to RSVP for the party by Nov. 1.

In addition to the inauguration ceremony and university celebration, events will be planned for the university community throughout the week of Nov. 6. More details will be shared with faculty, staff and students through email, Newsline and on the inauguration website.

Please RSVP for the party, enter the ceremony lottery and plan to join your fellow Blue Demons in celebration of our DePaul community.
