DePaul to host events for 2021 Inauguration

On Wednesday, Jan. 20, DePaul will host virtual events centered on the inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th president of the United States. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend.

Post-Election/Inauguration Panel

Join the Department of Political Science for a discussion of the post-2020 election period. Topics will include the Jan. 6 occupation of the U.S. Capitol building, the effort to deny and overturn 2020 election results, the second impeachment of President Trump, and the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the next President and Vice-President of the United States.

Murmur of Democracy

Join The Art School's Matthew Girson for the next "Murmur of Democracy​." Like previous "Murmurs,"​ this event will give participants an opportunity to reflect on the successes and failures of our democracy by sharing the words of people who have suffered or resisted oppression and hatred. Like previous events, participants will be invited to read to and for other people.
