Anna Ables is a native of Oklahoma and came to The Theatre School in 2006 with experience in public relations and marketing for non-profit organizations. She previously worked at the Utah Shakespearean Festival in marketing, education and company management as part of her graduate studies. She was the hospitality coordinator for the Region VIII Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. She held the position of director of public relations and outreach for the Oklahoma Arts Institute (OAI), a non-profit organization that provides pre-professional training for talented young artists and performers. She provided arts education training for public school teachers and university and college faculty and also served as the assistant director of programs at OAI, managing enrollment and student services. Ables has a background in dance performance and instruction and was a member of the American Spirit Dance Company at Oklahoma City University. She received her master of fine arts degree from Southern Utah University and bachelor of arts degree from Oklahoma City University.
