Author of "Terminal Town An Illustrated Guide to Chicago's Airports, Bus Depots, Train Stations, and Steamship Landings, 1939 - Present" (2014); "When the Railroad Leaves Town: American Communities in the Age of Rail Line Abandonment" Vol. I (2001)and Vol. II (2004). Co-author of "Shaping Contemporary Suburbia: Perspectives on Development Control in Metropolitan Chicago" (2001).
