Wiltse has served as the interim vice president since Oct. 31, 2022, and has worked for DePaul his entire career. “Rich has served the university well in his interim capacity. His deep and extensive knowledge of the university will help to move us forward as we reexamine our physical spaces,” Sidler says.

In the role, Wiltse oversees Facility Operations in the Loop and Lincoln Park; project management and construction; Public Safety; the Ray Meyer Fitness and Recreation Center; and administrative operations including Parking and Shuttle Services, Print and Mailing Services, the bookstores and Document Services.

He has been a leader in Facility Operations for a decade, first serving as director of Facility Operations for the Loop Campus. In 2017, he was promoted to oversee operations on both campuses.

Along with his bachelor’s degree from DePaul, he also holds an MBA from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business in operations management.

"I am driven by the thought of building a stronger, more collaborative and more creative version of DePaul to serve future generations of students," Wiltse says.
