As always, log in to edit the page in SharePoint by clicking Editor Login in the bottom right corner of the page, and enter your Campus Connect username and password. Next, click the Edit symbol at the top of the page, or go to the Page tab and click Edit.
If the ribbon does not appear, you can access it through the Site
Actions dropdown by selecting Show Ribbon, or edit the page directly
from the dropdown menu.
Inserting the Stats & Quotes Web Part
In the Right Sidebar:
1. Click on Add a Web Part.
2. Select Stats
and Quotes, and hit Add.
3. Select Configure Webpart. Check the box
under Header Configuration that says Include
Choose Header Style, you have three different of options:
a. To display just a header, select Just Title from the dropdown. Type in a header. Click OK.
b. To display a hyperlinked header, select Title Link from the dropdown. Type in a header, and paste in the URL where you want the header to link to. Click OK.
c. To display a hyperlinked header and image, select Image Title
Link from the dropdown. Type in a header. Paste in the URL you want the content to link to (or leave the field blank if you do not want it to link). Then, browse for the image that you
uploaded to the SharePoint images library (or click Upload in the upper left-hand corner to upload an image from your computer into Sharepoint). Click OK.
5. If you
want additional content below the image and title, click on Add New Item
and add text in the Name field and paste in the URL in the Link field (or leave the field blank if you do not want it to link).
6. Save & Close and Check In the page in the ribbon.
Step-by-step Image Guide
Click Add a Web Part in the Right Sidebar.
Select Stats and Quotes Web Part, and click Add.
A. If you just want a header and linked text, click Configure Webpart.
Check Include Header, type in the header text and click OK.
Click Add New Item.
Enter the text you want to display and either paste in a link or browse for one within the SharePoint site.
The web part will look something like this:
