This month we flashback to Spring of 2011 and a story from our newsletter about McCormick Community Intern Meisha Thigpen who created a public service announcement while interning with the Chicago-based nonprofit organization Connections for Abused Women and their Children (CAWC). McCormick Community Interns continue to go strong. Interns develop a project in collaboration with a community organization that helps better their mission. Past projects have included documentaries, marketing materials, workshops, and research. The deadline to apply is Monday, December 6 - see flyer below for more details.
