Join us on Wednesday, Nov. 7 for the inaugural DePaul Tree Lighting Ceremony. Prior to the tree lighting ceremony, all students are invited to attend an Ugly Sweater Party.

​Today, Nov. 1, the DePaul School of Music kicks off “Unveiled: A Celebration of Music,” an 11-day music festival to honor the newly constructed Holtschneider Performance Center. While the eyes and ears of faculty, staff, students and the broader Chicago community will tune in to the performances on stage, the School of Music's technical director, Michael Sportiello, will be behind the scenes, ensuring the more than 40 festival events run smoothly.​

On Tuesday, Nov. 13, the Office of Health Promotion and Wellness will host the second annual Midnight Breakfast from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. There will be free food served by faculty, staff and DePaul’s President A. Gabriel Esteban, Ph.D., and his wife, Josephine. ​Students can RSVP to attend the event. Faculty and staff can sign up to volunteer at the midnight meal.

​​More than 600 entrepreneurship conference leaders from across the world attended the 2018 Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Center Conference cohosted by DePaul University’s Coleman Entrepreneurship Center and the Illinois Institute of Technology. With a theme of “Entrepreneurship in Chicago: Big City, Big Impact!,” the conference took place on the DePaul and IIT campuses from Oct. 18-20.​

In the process, they have to make many sacrifices in order to coordinate their academic responsibilities with time expended in practice and competition.​

University co-hosts global entrepreneruship center conference

​More than 600 entrepreneurship conference leaders from across the world attended the 2018 Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Center Conference co-hosted by DePaul University’s Coleman Entrepreneurship Center and the Illinois Institute of Technology.​ ​The three-day conference explored a variety of entrepreneurship education topics through a packed schedule of workshops, panels and facilitated round-table discussion​.

Tibetan Monks of Drepung Gomang Monastery to visit DePaul, create sand mandala

From Monday, Oct. 29 through Friday, Nov. 2, the Tibetan Monks of Drepung Gomang Monastery will visit DePaul University. During their visit, the monks will engage in the step-by-step creation of a traditional sand mandala, an ancient art form of Tibetan Buddhism. All members of the university community are invited to witness the art creation and participate in associated events throughout the week. ​
