Foundations of Data Science Microcredential

The Foundations of Data Science microcredential gives introduces you to the advanced computational skills and technical knowledge needed to meet emerging challenges in big data analytics. Learn to extract meaningful insights from data, and then turn that knowledge into easy-to-understand presentations that will inform and direct strategic management decisions.

The Foundations of Data Science microcredential is offered as a graduate-level cohort program through DePaul's Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media. It is comprised of three graduate courses. The 12 credit hours of graduate work count towards the full Master of Science in Data Science, and you will have completed about one-third of the full degree program.  You will begin the microcredential with a non-credit-bearing eight-week prep workshop.

This program will be offered online. Classes include a combination of synchronous (live) instruction and discussion and asynchronous (on demand) coursework. The synchronous classes will meet one to two evenings per week.
