​Bachelor's degree completion with a major in business administration

The DePaul bachelor's degree completion program for HCSC  employees gives you the knowledge and skills you'll need as a manager or administrator. Learn about leadership, project management, professional communication, human resources and more. If you have an associate's degree, you will earn your Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration through the School of Continuing and Professional Studies in 36 months. If you do not have an associate's degree, our academic advisors will help you select the additional courses you need to complete your degree. 

You will have the opportunity to accelerate your degree completion through:

  • Credit for workplace learning and training
  • Credit for college-level achievements and experiences outside the classroom, such as modern language skills
  • Transfer credits from other colleges and universities
  • CLEP examinations

How to apply for the bachelor's degree completion program

  • Fill out an online application, which can be found at go.depaul.edu/apply​
  • Under UNDERGRADUATE, Adult, click Apply.  At the next screen, click on “Create an account” to start a new application.  
  • Under “Additional Student Information,” select “2021 Spring (March ’21)” for the question “For what term are you applying?”
  • Under “Cohorts & Partnerships” select “Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC).” 
  • Under Work Experience, click on “Add New.”
  • Select “My employer is not listed” from the drop-down menu
  • Type your employer name as “Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC).” 
  • Submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. Individuals with international transcripts should contact us for international academic document evaluation requirements. Transcripts may be submitted electronically by your college or university to electronictranscripts@depaul.edu​ or mailed to the following address:

DePaul MBA Program

Recruitment is underway for a special MBA cohort degree program just for employees of DePaul educational partner companies, including HCSC. Tuition is discounted 25% for this program, which begins in March 2021.

The DePaul MBA gives you practical knowledge with a focus on leadership. You will learn how to put theory into practice and gain new ideas and skills you can apply immediately.

You will develop detailed knowledge about:

  • Negotiation strategies
  • Leadership in your organization
  • Ethics and leadership
  • Creativity and innovation in business

​How to apply for graduate cohort programs

  • Initiate the online graduate application at go.depaul.edu/apply.
  • Select Graduate and create an account.
  • Select Kellstadt Graduate School of Business or College of Computing and Digital Media
  • Select entry term:  SPRING 2021
  • Select Yes for employer cohort.
  • Choose HCSC as your employer.
  • Submit your résumé in the online application or email it to KGSB@depaul.edu​.
  • Submit Official Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended (international transcripts will need document evaluation).
  • Transcripts may be submitted electronically by your college or university to kgsbdocuments@depaul.edu, admission@cdm.depaul.edu,  or by mail to DePaul University, KGSB or CDM, 1 E. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL  60604.

While certificate programs are not covered by tuition discounts, DePaul offers dozens of certificate programs, including project management, social media marketing, financial planning, and big data for business. These programs are offered on campus and online. In addition, they can be customized and taught on-site at your organization.
