Cam Rodriguez is a data reporter at the Illinois Answers Project, an investigative solutions newsroom with the Better Government Association. Cam previously worked with teams at Chalkbeat, USA TODAY, South Side Weekly, Freep, WTTW and others. She graduated with bachelor and master’s degrees in journalism from DePaul University and managed its award-winning student magazine, 14 East. When she’s not digging in archives, she's usually playing with maps, watching rom-coms or exploring the Midwest.​
