Miranda Standberry-Wallace is a versatile professional with over 17 years of dedicated experience in the nonprofit sector, working primarily in higher education, specializing in collaborative partnerships.  Miranda has consistently demonstrated her commitment to inclusivity and sustainable communities as important values and goals in her work and actions.
During her impressive career journey, Miranda spent a decade in the Office of Diversity and Equity, where she not only implemented but also oversaw cultural programming and allocation of funding. She played a pivotal role in coordinating the President's Diversity Council, a distinguished committee comprising members from various colleges and units within the university.
Miranda's dedication to community engagement took her to Northwestern University, where she served as the Community Engagement Manager. Her contributions in this role further solidified her reputation as a leader in promoting education, diversity, and violence prevention within Chicago.
Currently, Miranda serves as the Associate Director of Academic Service Learning at DePaul University's Steans Center. In this capacity, she continues to shape the future of higher education by fostering innovative and impactful academic service-learning opportunities and partnerships with community organizations both locally and internationally. Armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Entrepreneurship and a Master of Science in Business Information Technology, Miranda also serves as an Adjunct Professor, facilitating learning in areas of business, technology, entrepreneurship, and User-Centered Design.
In addition to her extensive professional background, Miranda is a master collaborator who has traveled across the world, presenting at conferences where she is called upon to share her insights and expertise on sustainable, asset-based, community-institutional partnerships. Beyond her professional roles, Miranda Standberry-Wallace is an advocate for social change and serves on multiple nonprofit boards dedicated to addressing poverty and violence while championing sustainable community development. Her commitment to making a difference has been recognized through accolades like the Women in Action Award, underscoring her significant contributions to positive change in our society.​
