Dr. Anne Kowalczyk is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing at DePaul University. She received her B.A. in Marketing Communication at Columbia College Chicago, and her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice at DePaul University. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified Ambulatory Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse and Certified Nurse Educator.

Dr. Kowalczyk's teaching and research focus is improving the quality of nursing with an emphasis on advocacy and competency, and addressing and removing barriers to sensitive populations in need of healthcare and mental healthcare. Dr. Kowalczyk is the recipient of the Illinois Nurses Foundation 40 Under 40 Emerging Nurse Leader Award, and is a Illinois Board of Higher Education Nurse Educator Fellow ('22-'23). In addition to teaching and scholarship, Dr. Kowalczyk is on a mission to break down barriers to Veterans receiving the care they need and deserve.​
