COVID-19 Dashboard

DePaul is committed to following guidance from the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) to provide transparency around COVID-19 cases among members of our community. The information on this dashboard represents new COVID-19 cases reported to DePaul of students, faculty or staff who were diagnosed with COVID-19 and who were on campus while they were potentially infectious. It also may include visitors or tenants depending on their time or location on campus.

This dashboard reflects reports within the past eight weeks. New cases are listed under the week in which the infected person was last on campus. The dashboard will be updated daily by 6 p.m. CST.

Archived data is available here, beginning with reports in August 2020 (when the CDPH released guidance for notifying students, faculty and staff of COVID-19 cases).

These figures are not inclusive of:

  • Cases that were reported to DePaul but did not present risk of exposure to the university community, including where the infectious person was not on campus;
  • Cases that were not reported to DePaul; or
  • Cases reported to DePaul before August 2020.

All faculty, staff and students must inform the university if they have tested positive for COVID-19. This will allow the university to provide the resources and support people need, and also determine if others were exposed and may be at risk.

  • Report new positive COVID-19 test about yourself or someone else here.  This form will not be monitored 24/7. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or Public Safety at 773.325.7777. If you are a residential student and have tested positive, please call Public Safety.
  • You may also call (773) 207-4340 to report a new positive COVID-19 test. A representative is available Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Use the form above to report positive test for DePaul students, faculty, and staff only.  For information on if you have symptoms or exposure, review the COVID-19 Symptoms or Exposure section below.

The university only requires reports of confirmed COVID-19 casesThere is no need to report to the university unless you test positive.
