About

DePaul Download is a podcast exploring the people and initiatives that set DePaul, the nation’s largest Catholic university, apart from the rest. Discover what our faculty experts have to say about the pressing issues of the day, learn about the trend-setting programs we offer our students and hear from our president, Dr. A. Gabriel Esteban, on the challenges facing higher education and DePaul’s response to our guiding question: What must be done?

DePaul Download is a production from the Division of University Marketing and Communications. Podcast episodes are released on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Here’s how you can listen.

The show is hosted by Linda Blakley, DePaul’s vice president for University Marketing and Communications. Linda left a long career in corporate communications in 2013 in search of a mission-based institution that puts forth good in the world. She found her place here. When she’s not touting all things DePaul, she’s volunteering for her church – at her church, St. Nicholas in Evanston, and for Y.O.U., a youth development agency in that suburb – or catching up on current events.

DePaul Download is recorded at the Loop Campus studio for Radio DePaul, the university’s award-winning radio station. The podcast is produced by Scott Vyverman, senior professional lecturer in the College of Communication and Radio DePaul’s faculty advisor.
