Dear Faculty, Staff, and Students,
We are happy to share an update on the Digital Transformation project. This initiative, which is part of
Designing DePaul, will introduce a
new digital experience to better connect our university community.
This project will create a:
Public-facing Website to share DePaul University’s story with the world and engage with prospective students, families, and stakeholders.
Internal Portal to connect our students, staff, and faculty members to the resources and tools they use most.
Data Lake to provide an optimized and powerful data infrastructure for our university community.
We are working closely with our partners at Deloitte Consulting to begin the design phase for this work, focusing on:
Collaboration: Deloitte and DePaul are working closely with users and content managers to make sure what we create meets everyone’s needs and represents our university and its mission.
Design reviews: Over the next few months, Deloitte will work with subject matter experts in areas across the university to design and review components of the website, internal portal, and data lake.
Content migration and management: We will create formal guidance and processes to transition from our old website to these new tools once they are up and running.
Up next, our university community can expect:
Launching the new website and portal this summer.
Training for those at DePaul who are responsible for creating content on the website.
Ongoing communication with our university community throughout the project.
