Support for Safety and Wellbeing​

• Public Safety: Please know that the safety and wellbeing of our university community remains our highest priority. If you experience any threats or acts of violence, please report them immediately to Public Safety at 773-325-7777 (Lincoln Park) or 312-362-8400 (Loop).
• Employee Assistance Program: 1-800-621-4124 | DePaul employees can call for guidance, resources, or to speak to a counselor one-on-one.

- University Counseling and Psychological Services: (UCAPS) provides brief crisis support to currently enrolled, degree-seeking DePaul students. Visit their Lincoln Park office in the Student Center suite 350, their Loop office in Lewis 1465 or call 773-325-CARE (2273), option #2.

- University Counseling and Psychological Services: Students not in immediate crisis should stop by the UCAPS office in Lincoln Park or call in advance to schedule an initial consultation appointment with a counselor. In addition to the UCAPS services, the Dean of Students Office (DOS) responds to student behavioral concerns, notifies the campus community of student deaths and reports other crisis situations.

- Student Emergency Assistance Fund: Students who are facing an unexpected, documented financial emergency to the extent that current circumstances will impede or suspend progress towards degree completion should contact the Dean of Students Office for more information about the criteria of this emergency fund and application process. Emergency funding is limited and granted on a case by case basis. Students must be actively enrolled to apply for emergency funding. Funds are intended for basic living expenses and are not for tuition or tuition balances. If students have tuition concerns they are encouraged to contact DePaul Central at 312-362-8610.
