Dear Faculty,
Last month, DePaul kicked-off the search process for the next vice president for Institutional Diversity and Equity. We have partnered with the search firm WittKieffer to recruit candidates based on a leadership profile established for DePaul’s unique community, location, and environment.
To create this leadership profile, WittKieffer and DEI Search Committee members will be hosting listening sessions in April. We’d like to invite members of the faculty community to two dedicated listening sessions. During these virtual sessions, you will have the opportunity to share your thoughts on the following questions that will inform the leadership profile:
- What do you want the next vice president for Institutional Diversity and Equity to accomplish? How will you judge this person's success?
- What professional qualifications and personal qualities should candidates have?
- What are the selling points for this position and this community?
The virtual faculty listening sessions will be held on the following dates and times:
- April 24 from 10 – 11 a.m.
Additionally, a virtual forum for faculty, staff and students will be held:
- April 24 from 6 – 7 p.m.
Another opportunity for you to provide your input is through a university-wide survey which is available here.
We ask that you take the time to participate in this
survey to provide us your thoughts regarding the DEI VP leadership profile.
Sincerely,
Martine Kei Green-Rogers
