From topics spanning artificial intelligence use at the university, campus free speech and the death penalty, the Dialogue Collaborative has created space for our community to have difficult and rewarding conversations. We’re excited to host another year of dialogue at DePaul and hope you will join us.
Fall dialogues on voting
At the first President’s Dialogue Series events this year, we’ll discuss voting in 2026.
Throughout U.S. history, people have organized and protested to secure the right to vote for those who had been excluded from the democratic process. Yet barriers remain. In the weeks leading up to the midterm elections, we invite you to reflect on the power of your vote and the role voting plays in building a more just and equitable society.
In this civil dialogue format, participants consider a provocative statement and situate themselves in a position ranging from “agree strongly” to “disagree strongly.” In these dialogues, we’ll make space for disagreement, curiosity and reflection as a university community. Join us.
