NASCAR Street Race happening this weekend

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

I hope you are all enjoying the first weeks of summer.

I am writing with one final reminder that the NASCAR Chicago Street Race will be taking place this weekend, July 6-7. Heavy traffic is expected, and there will be significant crowds around Grant Park and the Loop Campus over the next few days.

The university will maintain operations this week, but students, faculty, and staff should consider remote meetings or relocation to the Lincoln Park Campus when possible. Public transportation is recommended to avoid traffic delays.
