Involvement Fair Reminders

​​​​​This message was sent to student organizations participating in the Involvement Fair on 9/6/2024. 

Hello,

You are receiving this email as your student organization has been confirmed or waitlisted for the Lincoln Park Involvement Fair on Friday, September 6th.  Below are a few reminders as we approach the event. 

  • Check-in will begin at 11:30am on the Quad.  
  • Student Organizations who have been confirmed will check in on the southeast of the Quad (closest to Belden).  
  • Student Organizations who have been added to the waitlist will check in on the southwest side of the Quad (closest to McGowan North).  
  • All Confirmed Student Organizations MUST be checked in by 12:45pm.  
  • At 12:45pm we will release all open tables to waitlist participants in order of the time they checked in. If you are not present at 12:45pm in the waitlist area your organization will forfeit their spot in line, and we will move to the next organization on the waitlist.  
  • Given the amplified noise policies for the Quad, the only approved amplified noise for this event is from OSI-provided speakers. No other sound systems, bullhorns, etc. are allowed.  
  • All sidewalks must remain clear and cannot be blocked at any point in the event. All organization members are expected to stay within close range of their table and not block sidewalks with excessive members.   
  • No external tables or structures (including pop up shade tents) can be assembled by a student organization on the Quad. The only approved structures for this event are check-in tents from OSI and Campus Rec. 
  • A student organization member (current DePaul student) must check the organization in and be present at the table at all times.  
  • The fair will begin at 1pm and conclude at 4pm 
  • Please remove all trash and items from your table and the surrounding area immediately at 4pm.  
 When you submitted the Involvement Fair form, your organization agreed to the following:  

  • To adhere to all university policies. 
  • To keep all materials in alignment with the Display of Materials Policy. 
  • The Office of Student Involvement will not provide access to any electrical outlets.  
  • Soliciting is prohibited. 
  • Giving away live animals is prohibited.
