Provost search continues – Invitation to open forums

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,

Since the fall, the Provost Search Committee, in partnership with our search firm partner Isaacson, Miller, has worked diligently to help us identify DePaul’s next provost. Following community listening sessions and the development of a leadership profile, we attracted a strong pool of accomplished scholars and administrators eager to support our mission. In early January, the committee interviewed a slate of semi-finalists and selected four finalists to visit campus.

On-campus visits will take place the weeks of February 9 and 16. These visits include sessions with university leadership and an Advisory Group of faculty, staff and students identified by Faculty Council, Staff Council and the Student Government Association.

We invite the entire university community to participate in open forums with each candidate. During these sessions, the candidate will offer a brief presentation followed by a moderated Q&A.

Open forum schedule

Loop Campus Open Forums
3 – 4:30 p.m.

Lincoln Park Campus Open Forums
10 – 11:30 a.m.

Registration for each forum is hyperlinked above.

Location details and registration will be shared in advance. In late February, the search committee will compile these perspectives into a confidential report for the president detailing the identified strengths and potential areas for development for each finalist.

We encourage you to attend and share your perspective as we reach this critical stage in the search.

Updates and additional information are available on the Provost Search Website

Finally, we would like to thank the members of the Search Committee for their hard work and dedication over the past months.

Sincerely,

Sonia Soltero
