Sustainability listening sessions: Join us!

Dear Faculty, Staff, and Students,

At DePaul we are working every day to make both our Loop and Lincoln Park campuses more sustainable, and we are committed to engaging with the DePaul community to develop a Climate Action Plan.

One of the first steps we are taking is to invite the university community to participate in a series of listening sessions  aimed at developing initiatives to reduce our campuses' carbon footprint. Your voice matters! We want to hear your ideas, concerns, and aspirations, so please join us:

Fall Sustainability Listening Sessions

Thursday, Oct. 17, 1:30 p.m., in person in the Loop
Tuesday, Oct. 22, 11 a.m., Zoom
Thursday, Nov. 7, 1:30 p.m., in person in Lincoln Park
Details for specific rooms and links will be provided through the Eventbrite RSVP.

A key focus of these sessions will be on physical plant improvements—discussing how we can enhance our facilities to be more energy-efficient, reduce waste, and promote eco-friendly practices. Your insights will be crucial in identifying and prioritizing areas for improvement and innovation for incorporation into the Climate Action Plan.

Why Attend?
  • Share your ideas to help shape DePaul's Climate Action Plan.
  • Collaborate with fellow members of the DePaul community to develop actionable solutions for campus improvements.
  • Help us create a more sustainable campus community!

Whether you’re passionate about climate advocacy or just curious, your insights are invaluable. Let’s come together to explore ideas and promote meaningful change!

Sincerely,

Rich Wiltse
Vice President of Facility Operations
