Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,
On behalf of the
search committee and our search firm partner, WittKieffer, we are pleased to announce the completion and publication of the leadership profile developed for DePaul’s chief diversity leader, now retitled as the Vice President, Institutional Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging.
Last spring, the search committee together with WittKieffer, hosted 20 listening sessions and distributed a survey for university community members to share their thoughts on building the leadership profile for the DEI position. Thank you all for your participation in attending the sessions and responding to the survey. Your time and information were vital to the process of identifying what DePaul expected in our new leader.
The feedback from the listening sessions and survey results was compiled into the leadership profile which outlines the qualifications and qualities expected in the successful candidate, as well as the opportunities and challenges facing the next vice president.
Our consultants at WittKieffer have been actively recruiting candidates, and we encourage you to forward the leadership profile to qualified potential candidates.
You may submit nominations and recommendations to WittKieffer and the search committee at
DePaulVPIDIB@wittkieffer.com. Please include the institution or organization where the nominee is employed. Contact information and comments are helpful, but not required. Thank you for your help identifying prospective candidates for this important search.
The deadline for candidates to submit materials is August 23, 2024. The search committee will review and interview candidates and bring finalist candidates to campus in October.
DePaul community members may send in questions, comments or feedback regarding the vice-presidential search to
DePaulVPIDIB@wittkieffer.com.
Sincerely,
