DePaul's Vaccine FAQs

COVID-19 vaccination and booster requirements

In the spirit of caring for each other and for our surrounding community, DePaul is requiring vaccinations for COVID-19, including the booster when applicable. The due date for the booster depends on the vaccination received:

  • Pfizer — booster five months after initial doses
  • Moderna — booster five months after initial doses
  • Johnson & Johnson — booster two months after initial doses
  • If you were vaccinated outside of the United States, please visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's website for details on booster dose eligibility.

This requirement applies to students, faculty and staff.

COVID-19 vaccines, including boosters, are widely available throughout the city, including at doctors’ offices, hospitals, pharmacies, community health centers, city-operated clinics, pop-up locations, and other special events. All COVID-19 vaccines are offered at no cost, regardless of ability to pay or immigration status. No government ID or insurance is required.

Learn more about COVID-19 vaccine boosters on the Chicago Department of Public Health website or Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website.
